Random Notes of no importance

I have two things to tell you that are not at all related to each other. The first is that Lord of the Rings music is the most amazing stuff in the world. I was having difficulty coming to terms with the world last night and I had a load of homework that made me want to go crazy, but thanks to Howard Shores' brilliant composing I was calm and realized that it was not the end of the world... Until this morning. Most people know of the Princess Bride (this is my second thing) and many know that it is a made up story with Florin not even being a real country. Well I found out just this morning that S. Morgenstern was not even a real person. Made me feel the most blonde person in the world. It has completely desensitized the parts about Goldman's son and I now feel nothing for the characters or the real author. My advice for you? Don't judge a book by its cover or by what is inside. Oh! Just letting you know Phantom of the Opera will do the same thing to me as LotR does.

The end

My last performance was today and I would have to say it was alot of fun. Just this performance in particular because we had so much energy from the audience to feed off of. 400 kids in one auditorium! Crazy right? Some I think were a bit young, but still had the basic idea of what the holocaust did. Hoping it rubbed off a little and maybe some of them will want to join Thespian Society when they are older? Fingers Crossed!

Doncha love the smell of manuer in the morning

You know your a country girl when you are sitting on the back step blogging away while at the same time watching your chickens free range. This day almost seems like a miracle due to it's unnatural warmth for Port Angeles. The sun is shining and there is only one thing to do when that happens... Buy popsicles. My tongue is red and I am happy. Part of the reason, actually all of the reason I have not been blogging is because I am in a play. A most depressing subject, but one many young children seem to not know about. The play is titled And Then They Came For Me. It is about the holocaust. P.A.H.S Thespian Society director likes challenging material. Anywho, tomorrow is out last performance so after I will have a less busy schedule which means more blogging!Wish me luck on this last performance. Summer is finally coming!

Port Angeles Culture

I believe the people that have lived in this area share common needs (beyond staying dry) that have created a character, and culture worthy of preservation.
